Previously I was doing this with the Graduated Filter but doing it all with the Radial Filter is even easier. ![]() It is a powerful and easy to use feature, one that I can definitely see myself using a lot. This filter can be used to create a custom vignette anywhere in your picture thereby drawing your viewers attention to certain areas of the picture. After installing the new beta I did also want to report that all my presets transferred over without any issues at all.Īfter importing some photos, the first thing I noticed in the new Lightroom 5 was the addition of the Radial Filter. Over the next few weeks and months we'll continue to play with it and report back any additional findings. The sliders do seem to be more responsive on my computer as I have been editing photos with it. While I haven't set up any comprehensive tests to check the speed, I will say that my first impression has been a good one. I have a feeling the biggest question most users will have about the new Lightroom 5 will be the responsiveness of the sliders.
